Cologne High-Rise (Cologne Suspension Bridge)

Prof. Fritz Schumacher (withdrawn design); subsequent competition open to German and Austrian architects

A proposed high-rise building at the Cologne suspension bridge; Schumacher's original design was rejected by the expert committee and withdrawn, and the project was turned into an open ideas competition with cash prizes.
